Taliban fighters laughing at journalist’s question meme template originates from an old video of Vice News’s special documentaries from Taliban territory.
The video made rounds on the internet after Taliban gained full control of Afghanistan on 15th August 2021.
In the video the female journalist of Vice News, Hind Hassan, interacts with a few Taliban leaders. The Taliban leaders collapses with laughter as she asks if they would be willing to accept democratic governance that voted in female politicians – and then tells camera to stop filming.
