Gulabo Sitabo is an upcoming Bollywood movie directed by Shoojit Sircar and stars Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana. The quirky comedy movie also stars Vijay Raaz and Brijendra Kala among others. Gulabo Sitabo was earlier planned as a theatrical release, but due to the ongoing nation wide lockdown, the film is being released on Amazon Prime Video.

Set in Lucknow, Gulabo (played by Amitabh Bachchan) is a landlord who lives in an old haveli and Sitabo (Ayushmann Khurrana) is his tenant. The two share a relationship that’s full of sarcasm as they can’t stand each other. Gulabo wants to get rid of his Sitabo but Sitabo don’t want to leave. Eventually Gulabo takes the legal route, and is advised to sell the haveli. But then the Indian archaeology department turns up and declares it to be a historical site.
